The Coaches

Tony White Tony has been coaching since 1990. He has coached adult football, children's soccer and basketball from grades k-12. Tony is a graduate of the university of Maryland were he briefly played college football until injuries shortened his college athletics. During college he worked with the womens basketball program as a volunteer. Tony works as an account executive for Blanton Studios in Rockville. Tony and his wife Jonell have two children Jasmine (6th grade) and Brandon (3rd grade).

Mauricio Sanmartin Mauricio is in his fourth year as Assistant Coach with the Flames. He was a volunteer coach in basketball in Venezuela while he was in High School and College. He played for the Colombian U-12 National team in the South American championships in Paraguay and was a member of the U-19 National Champions in Venezuela. During high school, he played in Argentina for Universitario de Buenos Aires and played high school varsity in Venezuela for Loyola (champions two years in a row). He then played in college for Universidad Simón Bolivar and played 15 years for Centro Italo in Caracas. His daughter Babette currently attends 6th grade. Mauricio has three more daughters attending 3rd grade.
